Release notes

dmx++ is still being stabilized before version 1.0. This page summarizes published fixes and the points to know before installing an update.

0.9.8.8 — October 11, 2026

  • Fixed the update system: a failed download no longer blocks later attempts.
  • Update access is now based on the machines allowed by the license, not on a single download attempt.
  • Improved the 3D plan: left-click moves on the floor, right-click adjusts height, and Ctrl + left/right click adjusts pan/tilt aim.
  • Added permanent DMX fixture deletion from the fire plan and 3D plan, with confirmation.
  • Updated the French and English manuals, including regenerated PDFs.
  • Improved the Release Manager: automatic publication of local/server manifests, release notes, web/PDF manuals, and server files.
